A customer in the textile industry commissioned Industrial Alloys, Inc. to fabricate the custom dye range tank highlighted below, for holding dye. Utilizing T-316 stainless steel and a mix of advanced machinery to perform processes including plasma cutting, laser cutting, drilling, forming, and welding, the specified proportions were met while holding tight tolerances of ±0.010” throughout. The unit was deburred to remove unwanted debris, and subjected to 100% dimensional inspection to verify quality and accuracy.
Overall dimensions of the completed unit were 120” in length, 62” in width, and 54” in height. The tank exhibited smooth milled 2B finish. Fifteen units were completed after a 5 to 6 week turnaround time and shipped to the customer in Lancaster, South Carolina. In addition to providing custom metal fabrications made to customer requirements, Industrial Alloys is a reliable supplier of high quality processed metals in a range of forms and sizes.
